Is it too much to ask for some normal conversation from people???

I'm on Blackplanet.com. Have been for years and up until this day I can honestly say I havent had a good conversation with any of the men on there.

They want to IM me, I accept and all they want to chat about is how beautiful I am! Yeah right, I didnt come down in the last shower. I sometimes wonder if they are stealing the lines from Sunset Beach or some foolish love film.

'Oh your eyes are sooooo gorgeous', 'I couldnt sleep last night but now I'm talking to you things are looking up' *insert puking sound here*

I dont believe a word of that shite. I'm an average looking chick. I'm not Beyonce and I'm not Jo Brand either. Sometimes I look good, other days I look like roadkill. So I'm not buying that talk.

I'd much rather we have a conversation about the latest scandal in the news, or road tax or some shite. They'd have a much better chance of getting into my La Senza's with a discussion about the price of beef, because asking me 'Where have I been all their life' is NOT going to work. Why is thats all they want to talk about.

One guy I was talking to on there a few years back was sooooo dry when it came to conversation. I tried to get him talking about his job, his area just random stuff and he wasnt having it. But once he got onto the subject of sex (positions, bra size etc etc) there was no stopping him! I never spoke to him again.

Tip for the day: Men try talking about things other than your middle wicket!
